I missed lunch!

For 2 days! Ahh! I just started the Back to School Countdown and I'm already messing it up! Grr...
Well here's the recipe for today... and to make up the last few days, I'm posting 2 lunch ideas.

Macaroni and Peas:

This is a spin off of the classic Mac N Cheese. It adds about 5 grams of protein, 1 serving of vegetables, and tons of color! It tastes great, too!

1 cup Mac N Cheese (you can use the kind from the box, or you can use homemade)
2/3/ cup cooked peas

All you have to do is stir the peas into the macaroni, and you've got lunch! If your school has a microwave in the cafeteria, try heating it up. If not, this is good cold too!

Variations on a peanut butter sandwich:

Bored with the basic peanut butter sandwich? Try this: before you stick the slices of bread together, put apple or banana slices on the sandwich. It's even better than jelly!

If you don't have time to make lunch...

And your school cafeteria has a microwave, try bringing a frozen Amy's meal to school. Yummm!
